Melissa Hale

Chief Operating Officer

Melissa Hale serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Legacy Healthcare Services. She received her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. Melissa started her career as a Staff Occupational Therapist on the Brain Injury and Stroke Team at South Eastern Regional Rehab Center in Fayetteville, NC. From here, Melissa moved to Florida to jump-start her career in the geriatric rehab setting and served in many positions with a long-term care group in the Tampa Bay area. Since, Melissa has held multiple roles with Legacy for over 12 years including several Rehab Director positions and an Area Rehab Manager position that oversaw multiple states and clinics.

Melissa is also an active member of the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association (NCOTA). She particularly enjoys partnering with customers to ensure complete satisfaction, fostering positive outcomes for residents, and assisting all of them in realizing their goals and achieving financial success.

In her personal time, Melissa serves on the missions committee at her church and enjoys supporting youth sports. She spends time outside of work exercising, traveling, visiting the beach, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband and three children.
