Legacy Healthcare Services, a national therapy services provider, announced today the company has received the McKnight’s Tech Bronze Award in the “Building Bridges” category for their Family Link portal. This platform allows Legacy therapists to share the resident’s treatment plan, goals, and progress directly with the resident’s loved ones. This portal also provides the opportunity for the resident, family, and Legacy therapists to interact via direct, personalized messaging (including pictures and videos). This portal created a communication platform in a time when it was needed the most. It bridged the gap of communication due to the pandemic and allowed residents within the geriatric communities Legacy serves to feel close, even when apart all because of this innovative project.
“We are honored to receive this award for Family Link, and we truly believe this portal is a key tool that brings purpose, safety, and dignity into the lives of the seniors we are so fortunate to take care of,” said Jeff Ryan, CEO of Legacy. “Our therapists are changing lives daily and show our commitment to innovation in their use of Family Link.”
This is the second award that Legacy has won from McKnight’s Tech Awards. In 2018, Legacy also won the silver award in the “Training” category for their Digital Badge program.
